so i started to import my blog from blogger to wordpress. btw, http://ellecul.wordpress.com is my new wordpress account. i copied all of my blogs and comments from blogger to wordpress because i was tempted by the whimsical world of wordpress. all of those great user features like tons and tons of themes, great add-ons and most of my blog friends are using it ( not that they are many) and so i tried.
and i was happy with it until…. i thought of tweaking my webpage and i started to look for the html code and then… i learned that it is not exposed to the bloggers. *kapow!*
why is it not accessible? i could not find how to edit the html code and so i googled and i could still not find what i am looking for and this is the reason why i came back to my blogger account.
blogger allows me to change and add code to my page. sweeter!
so, i won’t leave my blogger account anymore. i won’t delete my wordpress account too. so i just have to maintain them both. goodluck me.*toinks* i can’t even manage to blog at least once a week.
in wordpress, some themes allow you to change the banner/header, and some even allows you to change the color. most of them, you can customize your sidebar. that’s i think all you can do except if you want to upgrade your subscription …
based from what i have researched, i think you’re right charm. since wordpress is a wysiwyg editor and blog host, that maybe the downside. well, i guess, i would be keeping both my wordpress and blogger account. i would just import to wordpress every entry i add to my blogger accnt

You can’t tweak the CSS of your theme in wordpress but you can add code in the sidebar.
You can have full access to downloaded wordpress from wordpress.org. That is, you own your domain and have WP as your blogging platform. If you do that, then that’s where the possibilities become endless, like what all the WP users are saying. Plugins, themes and more.
