i’m back! pinas vacation was over and now we’re back in tokyo. so from balikbayan to alis bayan (like i need to explain the title e no? hekhekhek)
happy new year everyone! so it’s the year of the rat. upon learning that this year is a year of the rat i felt down. i mean when you think of rat (marami kasi nito dati sa bahay namin hekhekhek ulit), it suggests something filthy and unhealthy and dingy. and everything that comes on my mind are not nice. then hubby told me that eventhough rats are thought as something negative, rats are very industrious and hardworking creatures. they would do everything to gather food. and so it made me think of other positive traits of them… and these are the few ones:
1. hardworkers (from trick) – as explained above
2. they populate easily – well, i want to have a baby this year (hehe, though one healthy baby is enough for met this year)
3. they are survivors – they would do anything to survive. they live and thrive anywhere.
4. they have strong teeth – i want to have stronger teeth too thanks doc boyet for the prophy and fillings
5. well, i couldn’t think of other positive things about them. now, back to dirty, dingy and filthy

on another topic, bakasyon sa pinas was very tiring (and pocket emptying 
) yet the happiness it brings is beyond words.tears, stop falling. i saw my nanay and tatay (mmuwah! i miss you mga anak, nanay no more crying ha). i met my in-laws (they are very nice people as always, i’m lucky to have them). i met my high school friends (though some of them were no longer in the philippines, yvette hope you’re doing well in chicago, cecille is getting married this year and meann is pretty as always yiheee….). i met 3 ninongs(who are like my second fathers). i met my palanas family (once again, i felt how much they love me – as in lahat sila). i saw our neighbors (they miss me too! would you believe that hehe….)
did i forget anyone? basta i was so happy to meet all of them. my inaanaks were very happy to meet me too! whehehe….. ninang lucelle’s savings account almost went 0 but i was very happy to give some happiness to my inaanaks=) always be good to your parents, ok?
unfortunately, i was not able to meet my accenture friends. i’m very sorry guys. the next time i come home, i will make it a point to meet my netapps teammates. miss you all!
wow my blog entry was like a dedication corner. i feel blessed and happy that the year started well and surrounded by people close to my heart.
this year, i pray that God will bless me and patrick with a healthy baby, longer patience, wider understanding on things, healthier me(in all aspects), and less selfish me. i also pray that He’d continue to provide my nanay and tatay good health. also patrick and me. and patrick’s whole family. and for everyone,may God shower you with continuous happiness and peace of heart and mind =) let’s keep smilin’ minnasan =)
